New Teacher Support

ATF offers support for new teachers. ATF and APS offer a joint New Teacher Orientation each year, right before school begins. Participants get introduced to union and district leadership, attend workshops, and receive FREE TEACHING MATERIALS from the ATF Educators’ Emporium. Experienced teachers donate materials when they retire or change jobs, and we give them to new teachers!

The Mentor Program provides new teachers with mentors, and ATF Professional Development instructors offer workshops specifically geared to the needs new teachers have.
