National Board Support
The Albuquerque Teachers Federation offers support for teachers who wish to pursue National Board certification. Any Level 2 teacher who becomes National Board Certified Teacher, and has been at Level 2 for at least three years, can move to Level 3 in the New Mexico 3-Tiered Licensure System without holding a Master's degree. In addition, NBCTs currently receive a credential differential on top of their salary that is over $5,839.
If you are interested in becoming a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT), download the information below regarding this year's National Board support. Be sure to revisit this Web site (www.atfunion.org) for current flyers and new offerings, and watch your mailbox at school for flyers.
