Get Active in the 2010 Legislative Session (Jan 19 - Feb 18)
ATF, your professional union, is already working hard for you. You can help make sure our legislators give public schools what they need. Here's how:
1. Register for Get Active. This service, provided by your union, keeps you informed of what is going on in the legislature and enables you to communicate with your particular legislators quickly and easily. Here are the step-by-step directions:
- Click here to go to the registration page for Get Active.

-Fill out all the required information on the registration page.
- Once you finish, you will have a profile that includes your particular legislators. Anytime you log into "Get Active", you can go to your profile and click on the names of your legislators to find any contact information you may need. You can send personal letters, email, or call.
- Get Active will send you emails when there is important legislation that needs your attention. With the click of your mouse, you will be able to send a pre-written email to your legislators.

2. Commit to making at least ONE CONTACT PER WEEK with legislators via phone, fax, email or U.S. mail. If you need to know who your legislator is, click here.
