No matter your political party affiliation or preference, if you work in the public schools for some time, you realize that everything - from the amount of money you have for classroom supplies, to the curriculum you teach - is tied to politics. The ATF Committee on Political Education (COPE), which is funded only by voluntary additional contributions from ATF members, is actively involved in local, state and national politics. COPE is constantly working for the best interests of public education, its employees and its students.
