The Albuquerque Teachers Federation is your professional union. We work with ATF members and APS administrators to address school and district issues. We work with AFT New Mexico, our state affiliate, to address public education issues at the state level, such as sufficient levels of funding for programs and salaries. ATF also works with the American Federation of Teachers on education issues at the national level, such as eliminating No Child Left Behind.

ATF advocates with you and for you, protecting your professional rights, fighting for professional salaries, and ensuring that your voice, through our collective voice, is heard! We advocate for the children of Albuquerque and New Mexico, so that every child will have a developmentally-appropriate, well-rounded, sufficiently-funded public education.
