Our VisionThe Albuquerque Teachers Federation believes that every child in our schools deserves the very best education possible. No excuse is acceptable when the best is not achieved and maintained. Aggressive unified action on an ongoing basis is needed to reach this goal.
An organization that does not adapt to change will die. We envision a dynamic school system, characterized by its ability to evolve in response to the changing needs of society and the students it serves.

2 of 2 Our Vision {continued}The Albuquerque Teachers Federation has been in the forefront of school reform for over a decade through our efforts to professionalize teaching. Professionalization means higher standards for teachers, increased collaboration in site decision making, and professional level salaries.
Our watchwords are excellence, pride, collegiality and performance.
